Privacy Policy
Mit Marketing ("we", "us", "our") operates this website. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit or use www.mitbranda.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices available to you.
We work with clients across Japan and Europe/the UK, so this policy addresses both the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI).
Who We Are
This Site is operated by Mit Marketing. For any question about this policy or your personal information, contact us at admin@mitbranda.com or via our contact form.
Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to www.mitbranda.com, including its English, Dutch, and Japanese versions. It does not apply to third-party websites we link to, such as Calendly, whose own privacy policies govern your use of their services.
Information We Collect
Contact form
When you submit our contact form, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, company name, company website (optional), the service you're interested in, your approximate budget range, your main growth challenge (optional), your preferred contact method (optional), and any message you include (optional). We also automatically capture the page you submitted the form from and its title.
This data is sent directly from your browser to HubSpot, our customer relationship management (CRM) provider, and is not stored on servers of our own.
The hubspotutk cookie
If HubSpot's own tracking script has previously been active in your browser, our contact form reads the resulting hubspotutk cookie and includes its value in your submission, so HubSpot can link your inquiry to any existing record. Our Site does not set this cookie itself.
Your cookie consent choice
When you accept or decline non-essential cookies via the banner on this Site, we store that choice in your browser's local storage. This stays on your device and is never sent to us or any third party.
Analytics cookies (only with your consent)
If you consent to non-essential cookies, we use Google Analytics, loaded via Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors use the Site (pages viewed, general usage patterns) and to measure when a visitor successfully submits our contact form.
Advertising cookies (only with your consent)
If you consent to non-essential cookies, we may use advertising cookies from Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and LinkedIn to run and measure our advertising campaigns. As of the date above, these advertising scripts are not yet active on the Site — this section describes what would apply once they are enabled, and we will update this policy when that changes.
Fonts
All fonts used on this Site are hosted directly by us. We do not use Google Fonts or any other third-party font service, so no font-related data is shared with a font provider.
Calendly
After submitting the contact form, we provide a link to book a call via Calendly. Following that link takes you to a separate website with its own privacy policy; we do not automatically share any information with Calendly.
How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your inquiry and schedule a call
- To manage our relationship with you as a prospective or existing client
- Where you have consented, to run and measure our Meta Ads and LinkedIn Ads campaigns
Legal Basis for Processing
For EU/UK/Netherlands visitors (GDPR)
We process contact-form data on the basis of your consent in submitting the form and, where relevant, to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR). We process advertising cookies only on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time.
For Japan visitors (APPI)
We specify the purpose of use of your personal information as described in this policy, in accordance with Article 21 of Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information. We do not collect any special-care-required personal information.
International Data Transfers
HubSpot, Google, Meta, and LinkedIn are US-headquartered providers. Where your information is transferred outside Japan or the European Economic Area, these providers apply their own safeguards for such transfers under applicable law.
Data Retention
We retain contact-form data for as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry and manage our relationship with you, or as required by applicable law. Your cookie consent choice is retained in your browser until you clear your browser storage or change your choice.
